I am full!

I am full of good food, although maybe too full. LOL! I ate more for dinner than I should have -- three taqueros and most of a chimichanga. I didn't want to make myself so full that I am uncomfortable or that my stomach feels unpleasant.

I saw a film on Dr. Oz today showing his colonoscopy and the removal of a polyp on his colon. I wonder if they put him to sleep for that. I wouldn't want to be left awake for such a procedure. I am going to be put to sleep for several hours for my endoscopic ultrasound and I hope for my stomach biopsy.

I will be going to the clinic Friday for my next B12 shot. Such fun!

Right now I'm going downstairs to see what is going on in the news and also my cats. It's too quiet! LOL!

Whoopie -- it has gotten colder!

Here it is, Oregon weather, and I am enjoying the pleasure of an early September that is cool and comfortable. I am writing this while I wait for it getting to be time to cook my dinner. (The Marie Callendar's meat loaf is in the microwave oven.)

I will probably go shopping tomorrow morning. I won't need to eat quite as much this week because of our family's trip to the pizza place, La Famiglia, on Thursday night. It's in downtown Oregon City, and that's all I know about it.

This afternoon I napped with Silver on my lap and it felt s-o-o-ooo good! The hard part was waking up.

I finished my meat loaf dinner and now Silver is on my lap.

I had forgotten that Labor Day was today so I went out and checked my mail at least once. LOL! There should be quite a bit of mail tomorrow.

Today I am pretty much out of snack food. I think I will eat some carrot pieces with hummus and then milk with chocolate chip organic cereal bars. I need to go somewhat easy because of my weight, with my stomach biopsy coming up. I have medical stuff coming up: the biopsy, and an endometrial ultrasound on Sept. 14th. My good friend Sheila is taking me and bringing me home as it will take several hours for the procedure(s).

I hope it continues to stay quite cool. I prefer it cool rather than hot by far.

Anticipating yummy zuchini

This is a picture of sliced, fried zuchini from last fall. Nick grew the zuchini in the vegetable garden at the shop. I think he may be growing some this year but I'm not sure. I hope so!

This is a new blog which I started today since I received a notice yesterday that Vox will be shutting down. The last day will be September 30, 2010. It doesn't work now, even, I guess because I couldn't get it to open.

Today is September 4, meaning that I have 10 more days until I go with Sheila to get my stomach biopsy and endometrial ultrasound. I am trying to pick up a handful of guts, like Steve used to say, and be strong.
The regular endometrial test went okay so I think that what's left should be all right.
